I started my Napoli game looking to take on a tactic, which is different from the normal 4-5-1 variations being used.

3-5-2 or 3-6-1 variations are normally a counter attacking formation, with in this article I will go through how I have set it up, moved it on and roles are used for each position, and with every season, how to move it on to the next level.
I wanted to start this by using a sweeper/libereo, but the match engine, does not really show this in its trueful light in my opinion, so went with a 3-6-1 variation, which looks like this.

With this base line and the player roles used above, I started with the team instructions, they look like this.

Now using this, managed to win the Italian league and the Italian cup in my first season, now with this I will update this on a regular basis to show you how it came across different formations and how the player roles played throughout the season, then show you how I aim to improve and move this on.

Then a few more people might give the 3 at the back formation a try.
