Yes, but has the potential to re-invent it self as long as the right people take over, and get away from just being here to sell there work.

I assume that refers to the number of people who have subscribed via RSS or e-mail for updates on the main site.
But you are right - nothing has gone up on the mainsite for a long time. Hopefully that can be rectified at some point in the near future.
Other than that, have you got a point to your criticism, or are you just looking for a forum to vent? If it's the former, we would all be glad of notes on where we're going wrong. If it's the latter, then please take it elsewhere.

i.e-staff/admin need to be sorted, if they are going to be involved stay if not be removed, and personally come away from the selling articles that this place has been known for and let our stuff be read here, so people come to visit and post.
FM-b articles and guides should be available here for people to read and comment, so we can help them further or just explain things people are confused with, whether they are our members or from another forum, the main thing is to bring it all back to here and not elsewhere.
This way in my opinion we can bring back the discussion which is much needed.

What would you like to see here/on this forum/site.
Everybody has ideas/thoughts, so let's here some, and get the fans of this forum producing content.

This way in my opinion we can bring back the discussion which is much needed.
1) Staff/admin - it doesn't matter who the staff/admin are, or whether they're still around. If you want to be staff/admin, say so, and you can be. It really doesn't matter who is around, who has a "badge" or anything else. Are you seriously suggesting nobody is doing anything because they're waiting on other people to do something? That makes no sense, whatsoever. Especially since I've been repeatedly saying "I'm not doing anything, please pick up the ball and run with it."
I genuinely don't understand why removing a badge from a person who hasn't posted/written anything in 24 months is going to magically change the world.
2) Nobody is stopping anybody's stuff being read here, so I'm not sure what you mean by that sentence. Nobody is writing any guides to be sold. Other than the e-mail blasts that went out a few days ago, nobody is selling anything here. And even then, nothing is being sold on this site, or in the name of this site, or by anyone who writes for this site. The advert for the guide we were promoting has been taken down, I'm led to believe. So, again, irrelevant.
3) Most of the stuff that has been released on the mainsite has a thread here on the forum. Perhaps that could be in a more prominent place. If anybody has anything else they want to ask about mainsite content, they can do. Not sure how relevant that is, but it wouldn't take forever and a day to find those threads and move them into a sub forum.
As far as I see it, what you're saying needs to be done is:
More discussion.
Easier to find threads on articles (even though none have been written in a long time).
Well, you could do both of those things, if you're volunteering.

2- I agree nothing is stopping people reading stuff, the selling point i was making is about the emails being sent out and the point that people i have spoke to see this place as producing great stuff then selling it, there are pros and cons to both which i do not want to get into, but understand your points.
yes what i will do irrelevant of what happens behind the scene of here is start writing and with help from others, will get discussion going here, and i know you will always put your thoughts here, when you get the time.

They came here with intention to learn more than just winning the game.
But probably the trend has turned, as more people playing FM, they didn't care much about tactical analysis and everything related..
Too bad to see this wonderful site turned to be this way.

I agree people move on in life, and unfortunately, others do not carry on the good work or even re-adapt this great site.

From what I saw, more people being concern with cosmetics and winning things rather than really knowing what they are playing in FM.
Or probably there are still players out there looking to read in-depth tactical analysis, but the numbers growing at slower pace than players playing for the sake of playing.
