For some reason I couldn't take the screenshot, so I've attached the match file. If you are a Spurs fan looking to mock Arsenal's profligacy, here is one.

10 clear cut chances, 2 scored. 2 defensive mistakes, 2 opponent goals.

Typical Arsenal, even in 2018 Although, it is the first time it happened in my 8 seasons at Arsenal. But when it happened, man it sucks.

One of those matches that you are rigged to not win because you clicked on the wrong option in the press conference or chosen the wrong team-talk. Frustrating when it happens.

If you're joking, please include a smiley. Sarcasm can often be difficult to read.

If you're being serious, then that isn't a helpful answer. It's also plain wrong.

The game is not "rigged" to make you lose if you choose the wrong team talk or press conference answer. That's complete nonsense. Yes, it may make the team play worse, but there is usually a tactical (or "football") explanation for each result. Only by looking at those factors can you learn and try to prevent them happening in the future.

I personally believe its bad luck. I have the tendency to go overly aggressive and attacking mentality, most of the time the quality of the team smashed the opponents. In extremely rare cases I ended up like this.

I have a wonderful team in this 2017/18 Arsenal side, I lost Fabregas to Old Camp (tut tut) but with the 50million quid they paid for him, I assembled Babacar, Ramsey, Phil Jones all at their prime in the spine of the team. I've also snatched up extremely fantastic regens in case you cant recognize some of the players in there. They are comparable to the modern-day greats such as Gerard, Henry and Bergkamp.

Ultimately, this team won the PL, and it even won the first ever Champions League for Arsenal, defeating the Mighty Barcelona who had Messi, Fabregas and Javier Pastore (!!!!) in their midfield and also a fantastic, Drogba-like Target man striker up front!

However, Despite posessing this wonderful team, I've still lost a couple of matches in the League during the season. The PC controlled Barcelona went unbeaten in their league (but with more draws than I did). I checked carefully and their coach went with a defensive, possession-minded 4-5-1 formation. I guess if I want to repeat the invincibles, I need to adopt a more cautious approach and sometimes accept a 0-0 away from home especially.

Poor choice of words on my part. It just feels like you're rigged to lose when you create 6 CCCs and score no goals, and the opposition scores one from half a chance, which is what happened at least a couple of times in the last season of my latest save. I've also had a lot of games where I get lets say 24 shots at goal (8 long shots, 16 on the edge or inside the box), 2 on target. As far as I can tell, these things don't happen for any tactical reason. If you're creating chances for the whole game and not hitting the target there isn't much you can do tactically, is there? I'd say that 9/10 (in my case at least), it's a missed step somewhere in the mini-game called "man management", and specifically press conferences.

It probably happens in my case due to lack of motivation or over-confidence (I can't tell which), since it usually happens when I'm on an unbeaten run when playing against a team with lower reputation than my team.

Just had one of those. Mid-season, I'm on the top of the table 9 points ahead. I'm playing the team that's 2nd. They were predicted by the media to finish 8th, so they are obviously overachieving. They are also on a 10 match unbeaten run, and their main striker was in great form last month, scoring 6 goals in 3 matches. I'm playing at home, and the match odds are 1.5 so I'm the heavy favourite. When I'm asked about how I see the match will go in the press conference, I say 'Of course they have to be respected, they are a good team etc.', because I genuinly feel that way. The media turns that into 'fears defeat', which is not exactly what I said. We end up with 60% possession, 86% pass completion rate, 27 shots on goal, 12 on target, 4 CCCs and... no goals from play. We score from the penalty from their defensive error and lead for the last 20 or so minutes of the game. They have 7 shots on goal, 6 of those long shots, 1 on target... And they score from a corner in the 87th minute. The game ends 1-1. There are probably a few things that I could have done better tactically, but I'm quite happy with how we played statistically.

Now, don't get me wrong, I have no problem with this result. The thing that I have a problem with is that what I say in a press conference can affect the outcome the match so heavily. The game becomes less about simulating football and more about gaming a system of hidden modifiers.

...Or how about the Champions Cup holders losing 1-0 to a non-league team in the French Cup? 24 shots, 1 on target, own goal. This is f*****g stupid. Yeah, I took out the reserve team, they are still three times the players they are playing against and they can't hit a barn door? I sub in a striker with 18 finishing and composure and he can't hit anything either?

This game really needs a 'DISABLE PRESS CONFERENCES' button. Or I need to start sending out my assistant.

Note: in the end I reloaded (something I generally avoid), did the press conference differently, and won 8-0. Talk about not being rigged...

Yeah...I was frustrated and needed to vent. But the press conferences are still frustrating me. Just had 65% possession, 4 CCCs, 25 shots on goal, scored one, they shot at goal five times from 25-30 yards, scored twice. I probably shouldn't be so confident of a win when I'm the favourite, since it makes my forwards shoot over the bar from around the penalty spot.

Not to mention that we probably just lost the title because of that...
