I've tried to browse the site and find an online games section, but there doesn't appear to be one! So appologies if i have posted this in the wrong forum.
I am a very experienced FM gamer, and i am hoping to set up an online game with someone who can host. Perhaps with several people involved...
Would anyone be interested?
please reply and add MSN contact details if so...
regards,

I know there's a pinned network game thread, but it has 10 posts, and the last one being made 2007, so my question is; is there anywhere here or other place where people arrange network games?
I'm growing tired of beating the AI, and I've always preferred CM/FM against friends, either online or by playing on the same computer. If anyone can point me to some (mature) network game action, I'd be very appreciative

Personally, I'm not sure. I'm sure someone somewhere knows, though. First stop, as ever, would be Google or your search engine of choice.

Well, I'm not looking to play some random 12 year old. This is the only board I've found, which there is some actual discussion and some well thought posting, and that's why I was hoping this wasn't the only post about network games

Minimum age: 20
Patch: 9.0.2
Database: medium
Leagues: England, Spain, Italy, Germany, Portugal, France
Max numbers of players: 6
Starting: as soon as possible
Rules:
Times of play
Twice a week, with startup time between 6PM and 8PM GMT. Days will be decided amongst the players. The savegame will be open 30 minutes ahead, so that managers can search for players, make tactics etc before the play starts.
Game can be cancelled due to special circumstances as parties, holidays, birthdays etc
Each manager will be forced to choose 'Sunday League Footballer' as reputation before taking over a club.
Searching for players should be done when one of the other players are having a game. This is to ensure the flow of the game. In extreme occasions, ie where one gets alot of keyplayers injured etc, he/she will be allowed to take some time to search for new players even outside a game.
All games must be played on high speed, with replays switched off, and in key highlights. It will not be allowed to watch another teams game, if it does not involve another player.
If a player goes away for more than 5 minutes he/she must go on 'holiday' until he/she is back. If a player goes on holiday, he/she has to contact the gamehost in IRC/msn and ask to rejoin, due to the tendency for crashing if anyone rejoins in the middle of a game.
There will be a 'gentlemans agreement' between the players. This means that no player should bid on another players coaches, scouts, assistants and physios.
It's only allowed to take over clubs in PL or the Championship. The other leagues are there just for the realism of the game.
Signing Bosman-players is a nice way to get players cheap, and to earn a buck or two selling them later on. But, any player signed, whether on free transfer or for a fee, must remain in the club for at least 12 months before being sold again.
It will also be a cap of signing 3 players under the age of 20 each season.
Managers who get fired which have the option to resign, and make a new profile, and start with the same club, or to just wait for an offer from another PL/championship side (which is not amongst the top 8 teams of the division).
I am looking for players who wants to make this a long savegame, and who will participate in IRC/msn while playing.
Players who wants to join, please send me a PM with the following information:
Name:
Age:
CN/FM versions played:
Preferred 2 days of play:
Days you cannot play:

It's highly recommended to have all players untick the option 'Move matches for TV' before playing an online game of FM, in which case all your matches will be at the same time and searching for players can be done in the week between matches. Also, I'd consider putting auto-continue on for a maximum of 1 minute.
Just a couple of pointers to what works well in our clan
