This is one annoying feature I have found.

One of my coaches say play deep the other disagrees, How and what attribute do I look for in these areas, its not just that but even the assistant manager saying "YOUR NAME HERE would be more suited playing a SHORT PASSING GAME", it always seems to be the same one, you never see "RUN WITH BALL DOWN RIGHT"

Help me out on this guys (HOPEFULLY)

The backroom advice (tactically) is incredibly flawed. To the point where I don't use it. The game cannot work out what works and what doesn't, and simply gives out some generic advice which, ultimately, is useless if you have an idea about what you want to do.

I'd love to know how it actually works, but I suspect it does little more than look for a few key stats and then generates a generic piece of advice to fit the situation.

I normally take little notice of this, and just see how the game pans out,the main thing i look out for is the size of pitch and formation of opposition compared to mine.
