Did somebody encounter a penalty made by the 'keeper?

There are penalties after handball, pushing and etc standart foul, but never in FM I watched a foul, made by the keeper. Do you?

That's an interesting point, cagiva. I don't think I've ever seen a 'keeper give away a penalty on FM.

The other thing that crossed my mind is that I have never known a 'keeper to handle outside his box or pick up a backpass (I know they're both very rare in real life, but they do happen!) in FM

I witnessed a keeper handling the ball outside the area in the past version of FM, mostly in '10. But not in '11, not yet.

But for the backpass - I really don't see such as things.

Nope, haven't seen any of those.

Nor have I seen a foul throw, penalty re-take or re-taken free kick from the wrong spot.

Granted, none of the above are frequent visitors, but they do happen

As Juvehero and I went off on a bit of a tangent, cagiva does have a valid point. Quite a lot of penalties are given away by 'keepers irl, yet on FM I don't recall ever seeing one given against a 'keeper.

I've seen a keeper handle outside the area on FM10, but not on FM11 as of yet. I've never witnessed a goalkeeper fouling a player and conceding a penalty, but quite frankly, I for one don't want SI to review this. If they did, what would the odds be on goalkeepers giving away a penalty in every other match on FM12 up until the second or third patch? No thanks.

No penalties by keeper, no foul by keeper handling a pass, no free kicks taken from the wrong spot, no streakers on the pitch (now I wonder why nobody has asked it in one of those what do you want for the next version threads).

In FM08 on XBox360, I had a GK red-carded for handling the ball outside of the box. He was a very junior GK and I personally believe that the decision was line-ball but he got red-carded . . .

I've seen a keeper get red carded for a foul inside the box back in FM10.

Also had my own keeper come out to grab the ball that just crossed the penalty box line, but unfortunately his momentum took him outside the box and he immediately got yellow carded for it

Oh, red card from handballing outside of the area I did have in FM10, though it felt more like a slight odd as there was no rival player anywhere near to fire his panic button, it was kind of weird as he took the tame ball inside the box, at the edge and after taking it swings to throw in and there goes the referee with the red card. Felt like it could have been more a oddball issue with calculating positions (like those times he takes the ball and upon swinging the ball gets it to corner, that happened often-ish) than actually being a case of proper handling the ball out of the area.

I have seen it once back in FM 2007 where my keeper was also sent off after the foul as the ref decided that it was a professional foul

I've seen it real life. Few days ago, Casillas got read card for making a foul out of the box. They got free kick.

However, I've seen it in FIFA but not never in FM. I am playing FM since FM2008. May be I missed that interesting thing

Never see GK made foul so far in FM 2011.

Well, if you wanna see whether the keeper would get red card, try playing with really slow defenders and a high defensive line, set your goalkeeper to sweeper GK and manually change his pressing to cover the whole pitch. It would be interesting to see what the gk would do, but I guess the striker would usually lob your gk unless he has the "like to round keeper" trait.
