Is there the function to "View New Posts" on this new forum?

Or at least something that does a similar thing? I can't find anything at the moment and it's making things a little bit confusing.

EDIT: Sorry, ignore me. I've found the View New Content link you set up.

No worries. I've had to adjust to the interface myself. If it wasn't for the fact that other FM forums have the function there, I would have probably never thought to look on the footer for "Mark Board As Read".

We're still in the process of shoring up the full forum design here, but if you see anything that doesn't work, seems out of place, can't find well, etc. - please let me know.

No, I've got to be honest, I'm with Andy here - I'm not a fan of this new layout. The old layout was way better. This new forum seems very stark, bright and unforgiving on the eye.

As for things that look out of place Jordan - just a quick point on the design of the logo....that's the cross of St George, right? Representing FM-Britain? As someone who has to deal with designers on a regular basis in Real Life, that would have been something I'd have flagged up as an issue. To me the design of that logo doesn't do what it says on the tin.

Also, is it just me or are the post counts not ticking over? Mine certainly doesn't seem to be at the moment. I seem to have been stuck on 6334 for that last few days. Not that that matters, but it's just a point worth noting.

EDIT: Oh yeah - a small point that I'm sure you're away of, but the smilies are a complete shambles at the moment as well. Any chance of sorting those out?

That does seem odd. I just recounted the stats in the control panel but your post count never went up. Before this post count, I was on 4,707 (memory's not good enough for a mental note )

Edit: wtf?!

Edit 2: Post counts appear to be disabled. I'll fix this now

Yes, it's working now. Thanks, Gaz, it's very useful tool, as everybody could agree.

Can I ask what's this "reputation thingy" all about?

Basically, if you like a post, click on the green button in the bottom right, and if you dont like it, click red. Quite useful for encouraging constructive posting and debating imo

And is there any place where all such as voted posts will be listed? Or how can/where I can see such as posts?

I haven't looked into it properly yet, but from what I can see you can hide posts based on their authors reputation at the bottom of the topic view, just above the "Add Reply" and "Start New Topic" buttons. You can also view a members reputation by looking at their profile.

It's something to do with the Millennium Bug.

11 years too late.
