Been a lurker for a few years, been playing CM / FM from the beginning. Some decent stuff on this site, but the 7.95 for your latest project is taking the mick.
Sign of the times and things to come, all things come to an end I guess.
Farewell.

Farewell. Not a great loss it has to be said, what with your massive 0 post contribution and all. So all those years of free advice, friendly chat and all the hard work by the guys into giving you all this FOR FREE wasn't worth so much as a 'thank you' or a single post in all that time, but now they've released an OPTIONAL ebook for a charge you're off?
Bye.

It is, of course, prot's perogative, but I'm sure a lot of people refuse to come back to FM:B for a whole host of reasons.
I'm sorry that you didn't think our years of free work are worth compensation, but that's your own position. Seeing as you're gone, though, I doubt you'll come back to read this.

That must be a contender for best ever first post! Great work!!
This forum is a much darker place without your erm... lurking.
Best of luck in whatever you choose to do from this day forth, whichever forum you decide to lurk in, I hope it's a worthy successor to FMB.

Could I add, though, that little is served by either side getting aggressive in this debate. I'm glad that so many of our regular readers accept our decision to charge for this guide, but ridiculing others for their refusal to pay is not helpful to us or them.
Thank you for your support though.

Well I'd just like to declare that I'm not going anywhere.
Oh, and I've retired from the England team

Have you not got a pay pal account set up on the main site for donations? I can't see one but surely it would be a good way to get some funds for the hard work put in.......Just a thought.

For what it's worth, I've given the guide a bit of a plug in my last blog post. Mainly because I'm unable to buy it but wanted to give you guys some support.
