As we have brand-new, shiny, upgraded forum software, and have yet to install a selection of themes, we thought we'd give you the opportunity to tell us which you'd prefer.

You can choose up to 3 themes and may change your votes at any time until the poll closes.

For a closer look at the themes, click the name to take you to an example.  You can also preview any of them - and lots more - from the dropdown list here.  If you spot any not mentioned that you'd really, really like, make a comment about it and we'll take a look.

Once the votes are in, we'll add the most popular to the selectable themes (although some may require tweaking or won't work properly, so we can't make any promises).

Tip: Open up four of the links in tabs, drop one, open up another, drop one, etc. until you're left with just the three you like most.

NB: The themes currently most favoured amongst the moderating staff are: Amazing, Anecdota, SMF Pro RC2 & Vogue and one of those will likely become the "default" theme depending on how many of our members agree with our choices, but we're not limited in the number of themes which can be selectable (apart from practical considerations such as whether they work properly and the amount of work it takes to adapt each theme for our specific needs - banners, buttons, etc.), so there's a good chance that your preferred theme will make the cut, if it proves popular, even if it isn't one of the mods favourites.

I voted for "Orange luv" and "Midnight bla-bla" .

Unfortanelly, the previous theme which I like mostly is not here.

Yeah, sorry about that cagiva. The upgrade to 2.0 renders many of the previous themes useless. As it is, once we've chosen the themes we'll probably need to delve under the hood and make sure they work properly anyway. But, here's hoping!

I get an error message when clicking on the themes:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /home/admin/smfthemes.org/Sources/Subs.php on line 1633

Something wrong on my end?

It's not you - there does seem to be an error on the SMFThemes site...

Bummer.

Which one's vogue? I didn't vote for it but the preview is down at the moment so I can't double check if I like it or not. And as long as one of the 3 I voted for are in I'll be happy

And it looks like only 5 people have actually voted so a fair way to go yet :)

I liked Blue the best, second would have to be Vogue.  Those were what I voted for, what was the skin for the previous forum - the green/orange one that lasted about a week?  Didn't mind that one

Only 15 people voted! Come on guys  - this is "our" forum and we can't let those mods have a majority say.

Does everyone like Vogue because it looks just like the old FM-B forum the most?

I really think Anecdota or Implied are much cleaner themes and better for usability than Vogue.

I like full width of the screen skins.  It bugs me when everything is bunched in the middle of the screen with big, useless borders down both sides.

I like most the midnight theme, just because is darker, and I've always like darker skins.

Its one of the reason I chose Blue.  Mind you, its the version before the version that Vogue looks similar too.

The other two you mentioned did make my first shortlist (of 12) but like the others said, there's the width thing plus I don't think the fonts or style is "fm:b".

I'm going to choose to view that as a compliment :M

BTW, someone who is internet savvy should put it on Twitter and FaceBook, might get more votes that way ;)

Twitter done

And FaceBook

Guarantee I've done it wrong

Yes, you have JP. (but don't worry about it!)

Millie can probably explain why - he's my social media apprentice...
