Hello, I thought I'd introduce myself

I'm Neil, found my way here because it was mentioned in TT&F09.

I'm still playing FM09 since I have taken AFC Wimbledon from the Blue Square South to the Premiership (I'm in my first season there in 2022), basically by picking people up on free transfers and only letting good players go if there was a 30-50% of next transfer clause going. I sandbagged a bit trying to get the board to build me a new stadium in L1 (it's my first year with a 17.5k seat stadium in the Prem which means the monthly income is looking healthier!) - The board decided to build it when I survived in the Championship, does anyone know if that is typical? Or does it usually happen when you ask the board to expand a ground that can't be expanded?

What I'm really planning on doing is look at the areas I haven't made much use of (teams talks and press conferences have been handled a bit generically), and to try and understand how to improve some of the other areas (like preferred moves training and tutoring).

I'm not sure if I'll buy FM10 - I want to keep this game going until I win the Champion's league with Wimbledon or the World Cup with England, so I might end up being closer to buying FM11!

Looking forward to learning everything I can off as many of you as possible! (and helping others out where I can...)
