Seen something odd or funny in the game that doesn't quite warrant its own thread?  Share it in here.

Goalkeeper so close to a hat-trick...

I saw something a lot stranger on mine yesterday. Sadly, i cant load FM at minute, but when i can, ill get some footage.

Basically the opposition striker was working his way towards the area, and couldnt get through the defence. So he decided to turn his back and try and lump the ball back to the keeper about 15 yards into my own half. My striker latches onto it, rounds the keeper, and scores. Easy as you like.

I've just seen a similiar style blunder happen in my favour against Inter. Their defender basically crossed from the corner flag across his own area for his central player to pick up but it fell to one of my players who smashed it past the keeper.

Just had a game postponed due to a water-logged pitch.  Never had that before :(

And then the re-scheduled match was called off for the same reason.

Magnus Thormar ftw! But doesn't this go against the no naming policy?

I don't think so.  It's not in the LLM forum and I'm not recommending him (He's crap.  The best I've got, but crap nevertheless).

Have to say right now im getting damn sick of Barnsley!

Championship: Barnsley 1 Reading 0
League Cup R3: Barnsley 1 Reading 1 (Lost 7-6 on penalties)
Championship: Reading 1 Barnsley 1
FA Cup R3: Reading 3 Barnsley 3
FA Cup R3 Replay: Barnsley 2 Reading 0

And thats just one season!!

Although to be fair, i am 6th in the table and Barnsley are probably going down. Ive outplayed them three times yet i cannot seem to beat them. On my last game on FM09 with Blackpool, i never beat Barnsley in five seasons. Looks like they are becoming a bogey side of mine.

Jeez JP, bragging AND player naming.  Definitely a long hard spell in the comfy chair for you!

Scrolling banner? Maybe you should have some sort of announcement about this 'scrolling banner' at the top of the forum ???

I read the FM-B forum with the shrink header option which means I don't get to see the large red scrolling announcements  :)
