Site Rules

• The use of alias/multiple accounts for whatever reason is forbidden, and any member found using one will be instantly banned.
• Please only post if you have something worthwile to post. Posts such as "lol", or an answer to someone of "I don't know" are not permitted.
• Links to other sites are also regarded as spamming. If you wish to advertise your site, please request permission from a site Administrator first.
• Please only use the Personal messaging system to communicate with other members, not to advertise your own site.
• The use of signatures is allowed on this forum, however we would like to ask you to keep to a reasonable size limit of 400 pixels by 100 pixels.
• Although we are called FM-Britain, we hope to appeal to some people from countries outside Britain on these boards, so please refrain from using shortened words such as "plz" and "thx".
• Any member found using or requesting no cd cracks or links to warez/torrents etc. (any illegal material basically) will be instantly banned.
• Please refrain from posting links to adult sites/images. We get a large number of young people on these boards, so we don't want to corrupt their minds at such an early point in their life. Persistent offenders will receive a warning
• As the majority of our users are English speaking only, please, to the best of your ability only post in English.
• Also, please dont type in CAPITAL LETTERS, as this is seen as shouting on the internet.
• Racist, homophobic and any other discriminating posts are not tolerated at FM and will result in a warning or a ban.
• Every nationality is welcome at FM-B, both as member and as staff. While we expect at least some efforts to write good English from native speakers, these rules are very relaxed for everyone who does not have much experience with posting in English. Don't be shy if you would like to contribute to this forum, you will see that your effort will be received well and in a gentle manner.
• The staff and contributors at FM-Britain put a lot of effort into their articles and other work here, so if you wish to publish any of the material found on this site elsewhere, please send a request via PM to the Management team only - not to individual authors or contributors (some of our contributors may not visit the site within reasonable time of your request, so sending a request via the Management team will ensure the quickest response).
• Please virus check any file before uploading it.
  Any reports of files/links containing a virus, spyware, phishing attempt or other malware will result in removal of the file/link, with possible action taken against the uploader.
• Password protected files are also forbidden because of the risks of the above being present in many password protected archives.

These rules are a merger of all the current/old site rules and will be re-written and simplified for the new forum
