So Finally we got are man after months of uncertainty whether he would join utd, he looks set for a derby debut next week lets hope that he does not have a derby debut that patrice evra had.
This season and the future looks bright for utd with signings of anderson 19, nani 20 and tevez who is still young joining the likes of ronaldo and rooney.
But one things thats annoying me is the fact that heinze is so desperate to leave for liverpool, i cant understand why as we are a far better side than liverpool.

the two arguments for either side go something like this:
a) United sent a letter to Heinze's agents saying that 'if we were to receive an offer of 6.8 million, we would sell'. The legal team argue that as this was a signed formal letter then it constitutes a legally binding agreement.
However

Personally, i say for 7 million he can go. I don't like the idea of losing a player to the scousers, but he IS surplus to requirements, and doesn't look anywhere near as good as the player he was. I'm not happy about how he's gone about getting the transfer, but, after how we got Rooney, Carrick, Hargreaves we can't exactly take the moral high ground here.
My biggest question though is: Where the hell are we going to play Ronaldo, Rooney, Tevez, Giggs, Nani and Anderson in the same team? Even allowing for resting and injuries, that's a lot of forwards! (Hopefully will also mean a lot of goals!)
Sorry, for fractious writing, i'm struggling to type due to arm injury.

That's kind of my thinking too. If he's not considered good enough to be part of a team challenging/winning the title at OT where's the problem in allowing him to go to Liverpool? You could argue the case that selling them a 'dodgy' player is only going to harm their title bid anyway.
Just seems to me that Fergie's got his stubborn head on again and that it'll turn into ANOTHER long drawn out saga that all us fans who don't support either of the sides involved will get very boring very quickly.

Lets hope they beat portsmouth tonight, with tevez making his debut surely he will show us why utd fought hard all summer to sign and recreate some of magic he showed at the back end of last season.
As for the gaby heinze rumours i think fergie should just ship him off to lyon and the lyon boss said he was intersted, and lets hope that fergie brings in an out-in-out striker to fill the boots of RVN because saha is nearly all an injury doubt and ole gunnar 'i feel' he is nearly past it, maybe selling rossi was a mistake , or maybe he will try to bring frazier campbell into the 1st setup who looks top class at glentoran (yes ino they are useless team but he still looked good)

Mourinho's problem is keeping all those players happy.

I know the striker options look limited, but Tevez will bang the goals in once he's up to speed and Giggs showed last year he's capable of playing as a 2nd striker.
Then there's Nani and Anderson to come in.....don't think you've got many worries TBH, unless Ronaldo gets injured, then your done for!

As for the Heinze problem, he's still a quality defender otherwise he wouldn't be first choice at left back for his country but Evra is better in my opinion as he likes to get forward a lot and has lightning pace. I wouldnt like to see Heinze playing against us and definitely not for one of our fiercest rivals.

Everyone said that last season as well though, and look what happened there.
Ok, so you've not started well, but you'll get up and running soon, no worries about that.

I think with Liverpool looking strong, Arsenal actually able to take points against the... less glamorous, shall we say... teams, there could easily be 4 teams with over 70 points this year. If that's the case, you would expect the champions to get fewer points than last year.
A good run of 10-15 games unbeaten now could well get you back up there.
Of course, if City end up doing that too it could be very, very interesting.
