Is there any need for people to create tactics for others to download with the new FM?

With the new tactical creator, it is now far simpler for people to make their own personalised tactics for Football Manager 2010, tactics purpose built for whichever team they're playing as. It seems like there's no, or at least, little need for anyone to download a pre-designed tactic. Especially with the fantastic TT&F '10. Without having to work or think too hard, we can create simple and successful tactics, just by following a few basic outlines. Things like the RoO are roughly played out within the creator in the very rigid philosophy and the same goes with role theory and balanced, or bands of two and rigid. I'm just wondering, are downloaded tactics now obsolete?

Some people have been requesting an update for the 2-6-2, but is that really needed with the creator? I just thought it might be an interesting topic for debate. Although I do think there could well be room for things such as historical tactics and tactics trying to recreate real life, but yeah, what do you all think?

You can create the 2-6-2 by using a fluid philosophy, two cover defenders and two attack role FCs, which is why it wasn't included.

That's kind of my point. I'm saying that now we have the creator, do we need to download other people's tactics any longer?  I just thought it was a point worth raising, because I used to be someone who would regularly download tactics, as I couldn't get any to work as I wanted before. I was a big fan of The Better Half's tactics (sadly no longer a member it seems), because I could get them to work no matter the team I was playing as. Now I don't need them, because the tactic creator has allowed me to create tactics (a varied lexicon, I grant you), which allow me to finally make the most of my players... in fact, any players. So, as I said, is there a need to download tactics any more?
