Hi, i'm looking for real life football match statistics. The club I am interested in is Celtic but tbh i'd like to look at all clubs. I'm looking for things such as average possession, shots, pass completion etc.

Any help?

Hello, I'm new here.

I was looking for this myself a couple of years ago, in the hope that it would help me win my work fantasy football league, being that I pay no attention to the EPL usually!

However, I may be wrong, but I think that astonishingly all of the Premier league stats are copyrighted by the Football DataCo (which in turn is owned by the Premier League and the Football League). This means that even when newspapers want to print fixtures lists they have to pay the football DataCo a hefty fee, as well as stats. I've no idea what the case is with the SPL, however I suspect it is the same.

It is my understanding that there has been legal outrage at this, but as things currently stand it is still the case.

Personally I find it a ridiculous state of affairs. You can't talk to an American about baseball or American football without using a spreadsheet full of info about a player's points per game etc., yet over here we're not allowed to know these things!

Well, there's A LOT of stats out there for the Premier League, and if true A LOT of people are going to be served! :D

Anything with an Opta sign on it is all good. ESPN do some stats here -- http://soccernet.espn.go.com/?cc=5739
Then there's obviously the Guardian chalk boards -- http://www.guardian....all/chalkboards
Football Lineups has some decent info on who played where and when -- http://www.football-lineups.com/

There are others - but that's what Google's for! ;)

Yes this is true...I think I was approaching from too much of a hard-core angle! i was basically wanting access to everything!

I did find football365 useful for team stuff like clean sheets etc., but not so good for individual player stats.
