The reason for this is to fill the gap left by Keefa's winter break from the predictions league. He claims it necessary because of "bad weather causing problems with the fixtures", but I suspect he's just bunking off to watch the cricket.
Anyway, because of the possibility bad weather, I've decided to try to stick to mostly top flight games; those which are least likely to be postponed. There will be 6 fixtures per week, comprising of 2 games from 3 different leagues/cups.
So, as there was no one new who signed up on top of those in the Predictions League, that left me with 15 people. Not ideal, but I've decided to go with 4 groups to start with - 3 of 4 and 1 of 3. With this in mind I decided to seed the draw based on league position and split everyone into 4 pots:

Using a random number generator, the draw placed everyone in the following groups:
Group A

So everyone will play each once in the group stage. Obviously though, those in Group D will only predict in 2 of the 3 weeks during the group stage.
The top 2 in each group will go through the 1/4 finals, then semis and the final.
The first round of the fixtures will be over the weekend of the 18th/19th December. The final will be over the weekend of the 22nd/23rd January.
Same rules for points scoring as the predictions league. 3 points for a correct scoreline, 1 point for a correct result.
