photomillward Staff ProfilesGARETH MILLWARD (a.k.a. Millie)
Member of the beta testing team and FM-B Think Tank, Gareth is the co-contributor to anything he can find. Co-author of Tactical Theorems and co-host of the Get Sacked podcasts, Millie has carved a niche out of helping people with better ideas achieve their potential. One of the main authors and editors of FM-B’s tactical guides and e-books, he organises the content for the main site. He has a particular interest in the history of football tactics (probably because in real life he is an historian) and in recreating real-world football in the FM match engine.

A keen FM player and member of the site since 2007, Gareth also plays Football Manager Live and is a regular contributor to both FM-B and GameWorldOne.com.

You can contact Gareth via e-mail at millie@fm-britain.co.uk

mattpic Staff ProfilesMATT VOM BROCKE (a.k.a. The next Diaby)
Teutonic. Efficient. Driven. All words that could be used to describe the Tactical Bible creator. However, they are not words that could be applied to his tactical creations which favour flair and creativity, a fluent attacking style married with substance and an end product. His talents don’t end there, in real life, Matt is an accomplished musician.

Matt’s contribution to FM-B as a whole and the tactical area in particular cannot be over-estimated and the respect he is given by fellow staff members reflects this. The writer of the very well-recieved Communication and Psychological Warfare and Creativo set of tactics, Matt is a key member of the Tactical Think Tank and part of SI’s beta testing Dream Team.

You can contact Matt via e-mail at matt@fm-britain.co.uk

photoclaydon Staff ProfilesRICHARD CLAYDON (a.k.a. wwfan)
Tactical theory has evolved massively down the years, from Diablo-style beat-’em-alls through Cleon’s era to the present day systems inspired by wwfan’s theories. In actual fact, it’s a little surprising that he’s so tactically astute given that he supports Wycombe, a side not exactly renowned for tactical innovation or sophistication.

Another ‘golden oldie’ in terms of age and CM/FM experience, he currently lives in Australia where he researches oddities like ‘Irony in Management’ while polishing his tactical theorems. Richard is considered to be the authority on FM tactics, and was approached by Sports Interactive to help write the new tactical interface in Football Manager Live and Football Manager 2010.

photocooper Staff ProfilesJORDAN COOPER (a.k.a. JordanC)
Hailing from somewhere in the vast football wasteland that is the “Good ol’ US of A,” Jordan is our resident Football Manager Live expert and the co-founder of GameWorldOne.Com. In fact, for a Yank, he’s actually quite knowledgeable about football, especially now that we’ve convinced him that creative midfielders are not Quarterbacks and defenders are not Linebackers. Through his former days as a professional poker player, he is an expert at game theory concepts, probability and optimal decision-based strategies.

By profession, Jordan is a stand-up comedian and with that in tow, he uses his wit as the force behind FM-B’s community building efforts. The long-standing host/producer of the Get Sacked! podcast, it’s quite hard for him to go unnoticed in the Football Manager scene – from helping out hundreds of FM/FML users on Twitter daily to writing thesis-length posts on every community forum.

You can contact Jordan via e-mail at jordan@fm-britain.co.uk

keithpic Staff ProfilesKEITH MATTHEWS (a.k.a. Keith/Elrawkum)
Hailing from Wales it’s not a great surprise that Keith is well known at FM-Britain for his knowledge of woolly animals. No, not sheep, LLaMas – Keith is the staff member responsible for establishing and running the LLM forum at FM-Britain. In his time here, Keith has helped create one of the most successful and friendly LLaMa havens on the internet. He is also a regular presence on the general forums, lending a helping hand to new and experienced users as far as his “no tipping” policy will allow.

Keith is the oldest member of the staff, and doesn’t hold back from telling us whippersnappers when we’ve made a grammatical or spelling mistake.

You can contact Keith via e-mail at keith@fm-britain.co.uk

jppic Staff ProfilesJOHN PEARSON (a.k.a. JP)
JP has been at FM-B since the early days of the site, and has worked his way up to the post of administrator – truly a working-class Yorkshire boy done good. An experience hand at FM, JP is one of the leaders of the LLaMa forum and contributes regularly to the off-topic discussion, organising the odd quiz and stimulating discussion.

Willing to try his hand at anything (as long as it doesn’t involve tipping!), JP is always looking for new way to produce content for the site, including his forum challenges, the Football Idol experiments and general graphics and LLM content work. A Barnsley lad, he’s still dining out on the Tykes’ lone season in the Premier League over a decade ago.

You can contact JP via e-mail at jp@fm-britain.co.uk
