On the second episode of the Get Sacked podcast, we discuss the integral parts of successful football management in FM penned as the “Big Six”. In recent versions of the game, no longer are superior players alone going to guarantee you domination and glory. Pyschology has reared it’s head in many of the decisions users need to make from match to match. Team talks, media interactions, referee criticisms, personality conflicts and mind-game comments are all now important facets in your FM career. Has Sports Interactive steered it in the direction that FM is not much of a football game anymore but a case study in proper management techniques.
